Thank you, Lord, for the blessings of friendship! For those small, precious moments of connection when our souls reach out beyond our selves and find another soul. For all the capacities that allow us to befriend: love, compassion, empathy, sympathy, humor, longing, joy, and the ability to nurture and refine these capacities in order to be better friends.
